Strategic Communication for Population Stabilization
A DAFPAK component translating the Tawazun national narrative into strategic communication and large-scale social and behavior change action.
Project Overview
About the project
The strategic communication component builds on Tawazun, a unified rights-based national narrative that frames population as a shared development priority based on balance between rights, responsibilities, and resources. The work supports government ownership, cross-sectoral engagement, and religious consensus, and translates the narrative into social and behavior change communication. Through the Waqfa birth-spacing campaign and broader media and civil-society engagement, the component promotes evidence-based, faith-aligned, choice-based messaging on family planning, family well-being, and population stabilization.
