Rapid Monitoring and Evaluation of Scaling Family Planning in Sindh Province
A rapid monitoring, process and impact evaluation of family planning scale-up in 11 districts of Sindh, including community health workers and postpartum family planning in private facilities.
Project Overview
About the project
The Population Center is evaluating the Gates Foundation-funded Scaling FP in Sindh Province investment being implemented by Health and Nutrition Development Society (HANDS) across 11 districts. The evaluation covers two High Impact Practices: expansion of social-franchised Community Health Workers (Marvi workers) and integration of postpartum family planning in high-volume private-sector facilities. The Center is supporting measurement of program impact and cost, real-time monitoring for adaptation and course correction, and process evaluation to document implementation experience, success factors and efficiencies across sub-geographies.
