About the project
The Population Center conducted a desk review of premarital counseling practices in countries with comparable socioeconomic, religious and cultural contexts and complemented this with qualitative interviews with stakeholders in Pakistan. The review synthesized evidence and stakeholder perspectives to propose key features of a context-appropriate premarital counseling model that includes family planning.
